Are you a planner? Are you a person who carefully plans out each day? Well, we serve a God who is a planner. He tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” If you are in the midst of difficult situations today, remember that God has a good plan and purpose for your life. God isn’t ignoring you, and He hasn’t forgotten you. God has a good plan that He is working for your future.
We are all still a work in progress. But we can be assured that if we will humbly submit to God by faith that He will complete His work in us. (Phil. 1:6) In His way and in His time, God will finish what he starts.
He is not finished yet, so, don’t be impatient. Don’t get discouraged and give up just because you don’t see God moving. Sometimes He does His best work behind the scenes. Even in the most difficult circumstances, if we will just trust and obey Him, God’s plan will stand. Remember Joseph. “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” – Genesis 50:20
